Everything you need to know about our sample service
While our photos bring our tiles to life, we know that sometimes, you’ll want to see a sample before you buy. After all, there’s no substitute for experiencing the colour and texture up close - and you can really feel the quality we’re known for.
That’s why we offer completely free samples on all of our tiles, delivered direct to your door in less than three working days. There’s no cost or catch - we’ll even pay the postage! Ordering is quick and easy and we won’t ask for card details at any stage.
For selected floor tiles, we also offer a large sample option for a small fee. You’ll receive a much larger sample (usually around the size of an A4 piece of paper) so you can really feel confident you’re making the right choice.

How to test your samples
Once your samples have arrived, it's time to try them out - it's worth reading this short guide for a little extra information.

Samples for smaller tiles are either whole or half-sized pieces. For larger tiles, we’ll send a handy-cut sized piece, which usually measures 10 x 15 cm. Either way, they tend to be much larger than you’ll receive from elsewhere.
Our large samples usually measure 20 x 25 cm, although this may differ for certain products. You can view both the small and large sample size for a particular product by viewing the “Tile Specifications” on the product page.
We use Royal Mail and Evri to deliver our samples and they’ll usually arrive in two working days. You’ll receive an email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.
We’ve gone to great lengths to ensure that our sample packaging can be completely recycled. As of June 2023, no plastic or foam packaging is used. Instead, our samples are sent in brown postal boxes and they’re protected by Kraft paper, both of which can be recycled in your normal paper recycling bin.
For large floor tiles, we're unable to send out a full-size sample tile. Due to the size and weight, these would have to be sent on a pallet which is uneconomical. Instead, we offer large samples which will give you a great indication of the colour, finish and quality.
You can also order one single box of any large floor tile, which will be delivered to you on a wooden pallet for security and safety. This will allow you to assess a full tile, before you make a whole order.
We understand that you may wish to see more than one sample for a particular tile, especially if that tile is varied or part of a mixed pattern. Unfortunately this isn't possible - allowing only one sample per tile means we can keep our samples completely free and fair for all our customers.
Although we try to ensure that samples are sent from current stock, we can never guarantee that your tiles will be exactly the same as the sample you receive. Tiles do vary from batch to batch and there may be variance within the tile design itself, to replicate the beauty found in natural materials.
